SMB Sales Manager orchestrates the go to market plan and resources for a SMB territory focusing on pipeline by fully understanding opportunity (white space & wallet share) and engaging with distribution and marketing to drive customer demand in region and net new customer acquisition.
The SMB Sales Manager is responsible for the day to day business management of the SMB Partner Sales, SMB Sales Operations, SMB Customer Sales and SMB Technology Specialist resources on his / her territory.
SMB Sales Manager role is a key positon in Cisco’s Commercial sales team in Austria. It is a channel-led programmatic and promotion-
driven business targeting midmarket and SMB customers in Austria with low Cisco sales touch. The goal is to grow the run-
rate' business and the Commercial territory as a result of these efforts.The primary responsibilities of this role are to plan and execute sales programs to drive product / solution portfolio sales in country : enabling the distributors and resellers on Cisco's multi-
architecture portfolio, drive sales of the portfolio with the distributors and resellers against our competition, plan and execute demand generation campaigns with distributors and resellers, drive specific promotions through the various routes-
to-market, participate in trade shows and events to promote our portfolio and provide competitive insights and recommend Cisco's response to competitor actions.
The success of the role will be measured against the overall promotion-driven business and how the volume business contributes to the overall growth of the Commercial GEO Territory business.
e. how to buy, position and sell the products and solutions in the portfolio to the target customers, and ensure last mile execution* Provide subject matter expertise on Cisco offerings and sales programs and deliver demonstrations and presentations in roadshows, events and trainings etc.

The SMB Sales Manager will be part of Austrian Commercial GTM team, which it is a dynamic group focused on increasing our sales success through our field sales, virtual sales, partners, distributors and marketing organizations.
Cisco SMB Sales Ops and Partner sales are a critical part of the EMEAR Commercial Sales Acceleration offerings, and play a key role on the SMB sales and operational coverage in country.
These teams work to deliver a great customer and partner experience, while directly contributing to the Commercial business success.
Who You Are To be successful, SMB Sales Manager you would need to understand Cisco’s multi-architecture portfolio in its entirety and how to position the portfolio with distributors and resellers in the market.
We are looking for : * 6+ years experience in the IT industry, preferably in systems engineering, product management, channel sales, or technical pre-
sales* Familiarity with Cisco's full products, architectures and services offerings in the Commercial midmarket and SMB space
functionally across various organizations to drive outcomes, with proven ability to influence and lead in a highly matrixed model
