We are looking for a Clinical Business Development Specialist (PL, HU, RO) to join our Cochlear Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) team, with Head Quarter based in Vienna, Austria.

The position holder is responsible to provide business development and clinical / technical support in his / her regions which include countries : Poland, Hungary and Romania.

The role contributes substantially to Cochlear’s development and reputation in the respective countries. It is integral part of the role to establish strong relationship with distributor staff and clinic professionals by being a direct counterpart at Cochlear.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create demand and obtain orders through value selling as well as contribute in driving and monitoring business growth
  • Expand market opportunities through strategic execution of market growth opportunities, e.g. connected health, bilateral, upgrades
  • Develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships, support distributors and clinics in commercial and technical matters
  • Planning, forecasting and data management
  • Clinical support coordination, assisting in clinical trials
  • Provision of implant and integrity testing and report findings
  • Develop and deliver externally focused customer training and provision of bespoke training courses
  • Candidate Requirements :

  • University degree : BSc in audiological science or life sciences or equivalent
  • Proven successful track record in business, sales and clinical / technical areas
  • Ideally : extensive experience with hearing implants both clinically and in business
  • Business acumen, marketing and negotiation skills at strategic level
  • Clinical research studies experience
  • Knowledge in project planning and project management
  • Previous training experience in a clinical setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, presentation skills
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Office, experience with CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Fluent English, additional language skills (PL, HU, RO) are welcome
  • Team orientation, ability to collaborate with remoted teams
  • Flexibility & mobility - willingness to frequent travelling (up to 50-70%). Driving license
