In your new role you will be responsible for :
Guiding a team defining leading edge automotive radar chip infrastructure
Preparing and taking architectural decisions in close cooperation with circuit design
Definition and specification of chip interfaces , reset and clock concept , clock generation and clock distribution
Definition and specification of power budgeting , supply concept and thermal management
Create and maintain definition and block specifications for a nalog signal conditioning , mixed signal as well as digital and firmware for a control and monitoring subsystem
Ensure proper concept to enable implementation of DfX measures (Design for Test, Reliability, Manufacturability)
Running the requirement driven development process including documentation
Moderating regular multi-site team alignments with concept engineering, application engineering and circuit design team
Ensure that definition of key targets takes place with high quality and within project schedule
Obey functional safety aspects throughout the definition and development process
You are an experienced team player and you are able to win others for your structured approach of getting things done. You are clear in communication and know how to do high quality decision taking.
You are best equipped for this task if you have :
A university / university of applied science degree in Electrical Engineering , Telecommunications , or similar
7+ years experience in RF system or circuit design
Solid background in IC top level development and verification needs including ESD, Latch up, EMC etc. with multiple supply domains
Broad experience with integration of mixed signal blocks , PLLs , crystal oscillators , and interfaces into processor bed digital control architectures
Ability to guide and shape a small team to its best performance
Ability to tackle problems in a structured and systematic fashion
Effective and convincing communication in English
Experience with requirement engineering tools and flows is helpful
Knowledge in FMCW automotive modulation technique is helpful
