In your new role you will :
Guide the project team in implementation of ISO26262 processes and methods
Prepare justifications needed during hardware safety analysis and for demonstration of process compliance
Give guidance in formal reviews , i.e. application and interpretation of checklists required by ISO 26262
Support preparation of the safety case (GSN notation)
Identify areas of improvements and initiate corrective actions
Support during functional safety audits and assessments
Regularly report to and alignment with the Safety Manager (Project Manager)

You are best equipped for this task if you have :
A full university degree (Master or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
5+ years of work experience in the field of functional safety (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and other relevant safety standards)
Knowledge of safety analysis methods (e.g. FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA)
Basic knowledge about semiconductor development
Tendency to face up to problems with a structured and methodical approach
Good communication and moderation skills
Effective communication in English (written and verbal)
Availability to travel
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (www.
feei.at / arbeitswelt / kv-tabellen-statistik / mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
