Then this is exactly the right job for you : as Director Technology Development you will plan, initiate and execute all wafer technology development projects for SiC (Silicon Carbide) power devices including road mapping and planning for a cost-competitive technology portfolio.

Moreover you will be responsible for time-to-market and project execution quality for the respective technologies and foster innovations and IP generation within the R&D team.In your new job you will :

  • Manage a local R&D team with team members focusing on project management and technology development
  • Plan the budget for SiC R&D activities including alignment with other divisions
  • Develop technology project managers of R&D projects within SiC technologies
  • Be responsible for resource management, planning, performance appraisal and target setting (STEPS) for the resource pool
  • Improve project management methodology
  • Coordinate effective interaction with product and technology development teams at all relevant Infineon sites including Munich and Kulim as well as with the backend production and development in Warstein and Malakka
  • You are a self-motivated person who strives for performance, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You communicate openly, clearly and act as a visible model of what you expect from others.

    You ensure best results by foresighted planning, understand root causes of potential project delays and develop suitable solutions.

    Your structured working style helps you to follow the big picture and contribute to the business success of the organization.

    You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
  • 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry (ideally R&D background)
  • 5+ years experience in management and / or project managemen t functions
  • Fluent English skills and German skills as a plus
  • This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https : / / www.
