TheBusiness Development Specialist Austria is responsiblefor the introduction and launch of an innovative disruptive newtechnology, the focus will be on introducing the technical benefitsof the product, sales activities in Austria and developing newaccounts working in partnership with the market access team tostrengthen our filing for acceptance and reimbursement of theproduct.

You are responsiblefor expanding the customer base and assist in training accounts andpersonnel to maximize their use and increase the utilization of theproducts.

This position is also responsiblefor practicing quality systems manual procedures and complying withits requirements.

You will be partof a new (international) team, you receive great support andwill be active in a fast growing marketsegment.

Yourresponsibilitiesinclude

  • Identify newcustomers and present features and benefits of the product andconvert to a user.
  • Qualify and setup newaccounts, ensuring they have proper equipment andfacilities.
  • Train new appliersvia internal certificationprocess.
  • Maintain training and customer servicewith existing customers.
  • Reportcomplaints / adverse events to the appropriate internalcolleagues
  • Provide a monthly field report onactivities, challenges and pipelines and also outline planning andscheduled events.
  • Grow the territory to itspotential, by achieving and exceeding designated sales and accountpenetration targets for theCountry.
  • Participate in the annual budgetingand forecasting process, working in close collaboration with theNational Sales Manager.
  • Positively contributesas a key member of the sales team.
  • Drives topline sales growth and meet / exceed salestargets
  • Increase the number of institutionsadopting ourproducts
  • Whowe are lookingfor

  • Minimum Bachelor’sdegree in relevant field or equivalent thruexperience
  • Experience in the medical / surgicalfield is preferred. Working for a multi national medical devicecompany
  • One (1) years’ experience ininstructing surgeons on the use of new and novel treatments acrossall major surgical disciplinespreferred.
  • Strong businessacumen
  • Enthusiasm and drive, highly motivatedand a self-starter
  • Track record of achievementand high performance in the sales field.
  • Proventrack record in coaching / motivating and supporting peers andcross-functional colleagues.
  • International workexperience viewed favorably.
  • Willingness totravel extensively. A minimum of 60% of yourtime
  • Knowledge of working in surgical(operating room) and clinicalenvironments
  • Knowledge of rules and regulationsassociated with healthcarecompliance.
  • Self-driven and result orientedapproach to critically assess new medicaltechnologies.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate andunderstand physician / clinical needs and interpret those in thecontext of the corporate direction, objectives, and strategies todevelop new products.
  • Strong negotationskills
  • Diplomatic and capable of handlingcomplex situations.
