Role DescriptionDelivery Manager within EMEA organization focused on the Utilities Customer Technology applications. Responsible for solution delivery and oversight, resource management / enablement / utilization, delivery excellence and business development.

This resource will work directly with client’s core business team to ensure focus on business case objectives, leveraging best practice processes across the solution set, and scope management.

This role also involves developing practical and creative solutions in a way that solves business problem. Lead workshops with clients to deliver a clear specification of the customer’s business requirements and a business-

justified solution. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements.

Lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Will act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Internal

  • Establishes business objectives and are achieved by alignment with the team’s development goals, and clear, concise and relevant communication
  • Create and implement operational policies and processes to drive utilization, team enablement, key skill / performer retention, deliverable & solution reusability, consistent results, and continuous improvement of delivery quality.
  • Monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPI), utilization metrics, resource forecasting, securing new and / or extension of existing assignments, and ensures their team achieves their target KPIs
  • Mentor, coach and develop industry experience, application skills, and consulting expertise amongst team members
  • Interview and onboard new staff, perform talent management activities including : obtaining performance feedback, conduct annual performance appraisals, create performance improvement plans, work with their direct reports to create individual development plans, and regular meetings with their direct reports
  • Provide complex solution delivery and solution oversight on active engagements
  • Partner with project managers to balance resource supply & demand, on active & bid engagements
  • Support consulting sales team with RFP responses, project estimation and resource planning, oral presentations, contract development and negotiation
  • Enhance and evolve business development and delivery tools / collateral, including methodology and estimating models
  • Partner with project managers to balance resource supply & demand, on active & bid engagementsProject engagements
  • Apply professional mastery and industry-wide understanding of technology, Oracle Utilities Solutions, tools, and methodologies to provide complex solution delivery on active engagements.
  • Lead the delivery team deployed in an engagement, by providing solution to business requirements, oversight of the activities performed by less experienced consultants, and supporting the Project Manager on team management, and scope management.
  • Guide clients towards solutions that leverage Oracle base system functionality and best practices in the industry.
  • Guide and facilitate system configuration.
  • Develop functional design specifications for complex requirements, and supports more junior resources on their assigned activities
  • Ability to review and understand multiple designs developed by other team members and ensure formation of a creative and cohesive solution.
  • Provide tangible and constructive feedback on how to improve the solution

  • Actively engage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with the client’s business team to ensure alignment of the solution to their business challenges and long-term goals
  • Anticipate future customer, industry and information technology trends.
  • Ability to review and understand multiple designs and ensure formation of a creative and cohesive solution.
  • Work closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-
  • party vendors to ensure delivery.

  • Be responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction.
  • Support the Oracle management team on escalation management Preferred qualifications include :
  • Possess B.S. or B.A. degree in either Management Information Systems / Technology, Computer Science, STEM subject, or equivalent.
  • Senior role experience on at least two implementation projects of Oracle Utilities products (CC&B, MDM, CSS, etc) throughout the complete lifecycle (Implementation to post go-live).
  • Full life cycle experience delivering COTS - as an individual contributor and preferably with project management or team lead experience
  • Experience on business process modelling using Oracle Utilities Reference models
  • Experience facilitating workshops, guiding the client to a recommended solution, and owning the delivery of it.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Hands on experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) including Configuration Tools
  • Must have hands on SQL, and Java knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of Design and Customizations of Java Based Applications
  • Working experience of the Design, Development, Testing and Release phases of the SDLC.
  • Oracle Utilities products Implementation Specialist certification
  • Good understanding of business processes and Business Process Modeling experience
  • 10+ years overall relevant experience including at least 7 consulting background, preferably with Big x Consultancy (IBM, Accenture, PWC, etc)
  • 5 + years people & team management experience
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required heavy client facing role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
  • Ability to travel to client locations throughout the EMEA region weekly

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements This manager-level position is responsible for people management and sales enablement.
