In Vienna we are about to enforce our R&D strength by transferring our Product & Technology Development Capabilities for our Reduced Risk Products (RRP) into a newly formed organization.
Therefore, we are looking for a cooperative , technological-focused and results-oriented professional for the role of
Group Lead Laboratory Testing & Verification (f / m)
Support technology and product development activities through management of device / consumable testing and verification
Be responsible for planning and executing research projects as well as communicating findings to key stakeholders
Provide liaison to ensure that chemical analysis is performed in an effective and time efficient manner
Support all research activities and identify research needs to maximize analytical capabilities and develop, validate and transfer analytical methodology
Support development teams through mechanical, electrical and electronic testing and associated reporting
Ensure correct operation, maintenance and calibration of all laboratory and engineering test equipment
Interpret analytical data, recommend specifications and methods for process or product characterization and monitor & analyze relevant market activity, products and literature
Who are we looking for?
A degree in Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis
Min. of 2 years of relevant practical experience within a laboratory / R&D environment with a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge in one or more of the following fields : chemical analysis, electrical / electro-mechanical or environmental testing, facility management experience
GLP know-how is highly appreciated
Fluent in English (German is considered as a plus)
Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills as well as experience in data analysis and interpretation
Demonstrated knowledge of method development and laboratory instrumentation as well as experience in data analysis and interpretation
A track record of innovation and Intellectual Property generation and experience with consumer electronic devices are desirable

In addition to extensive social benefits, a total annual gross salary of at least € 70.000 is provided for this position if the requirements are met.
Depending on qualification and previous experience, the willingness to overpay is given.
