Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for a Business Insights Manager (m / f / d) for its regional Center of Excellence team EUCAN Advanced Analytics located in Vienna.
The members of this team will be responsible for driving advanced analytics capabilities and providing business-critical insights in the area of Human Pharma Human Pharma (Marketing & Sales, Medicine), and make them available to various user groups across EUCAN region (Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Israel, Canada).
This position will bring a unique value to the organization by fostering insights, expertise, and collaboration across all EUCAN markets.
It will advance decision making in EUCAN, by leveraging high-quality analytical expertise and driving standardized and consolidated insights, to empower teams to focus on patient and customer engagements.
Tasks & responsibilities
You will handle all aspects of standard reporting, from streamlining of reports, to prioritizing, and driving the implementation of new reports
You will proactively drive definition, structure of new analyses and KPIs in partnership with business stakeholders
You will consistently engage with regional operating units and EUCAN teams to understand and anticipate their needs and questions
You will help translate technical outputs from new analyses and algorithms to insights and inputs for business stakeholders
You will manage business critical ad-hoc requests from regional operating units and EUCAN teams and resolve cross-country issues in the best interest of the overall organization
You will drive gathering of business requirements and adoption of new analytical tools
University degree (Economics / Business Informatics / Mathematics / Medicine) and / or 5 10 years’ experience in a similar business analyst or business intelligence consultancy position, preferably in pharmaceutical industry with expertise in the area of Medical Affairs and / or Key Account Management
Excellent skills in data analysis and being able to turn data into actionable insights, including data visualization techniques and tools (particularly Tableau)
Proven project and demand management skills, including agile methods (e.g. Scrum) and tools (particularly Atlassian Stack / Jira)
Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres, Exasol) and SQL, experience with the Amazon Web Services is a plus
Coding knowledge and understanding of scripting languages to complement data analysis are a plus (e.g. R, Python)

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 60,000 gross per year / full-time).
