The Manager SCM Logistics & Stores is responsible for Stores, Purchasing, Administration and is the Nominated Customs Responsible Interface to the Authorities.
They ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Jet Aviation corporate procedures and local legislative rules and regulations, process specifications, technical and export control regulations, manufacturer requirements, aviation rules, and every other applicable or accepted requirement of an authorised body.
This includes the operation of the Store and it’s sub-departments of Shipping, Tools and GSE in conjunction with the Stores & Facility Supervisor.
They serve as a company subject matter expert to guide and support the company’s leadership team on all aspects of supply chain management.
Description / Tasks :
Management of SCM Logistics & Stores in a continuous improvement philosophy in accordance with Jet Aviation regulations and policies
Support the overall strategy and business plan for the Supply Chain Management organization, in accordance with strategic plans and financial requirements.
Establish necessary controls and metrics to monitor progress on executionIdentify, implement, adapt and maintain the plans, policies and procedures necessary to achieve an effective and efficient organization.
Review performance of teams and take timely corrective action to resolve deficiencies
Ensure that all Import and Export are in line with legal requirements
Establish the environment to keep & meet local Customs Rules and regulationsEstablish / continue Inventory & Stock control system
Support Finance with relevant dataEnsuring that all required Hangar Tools & Ground Support Equipment are available, in accordance with JVIE Part 145 capabilities, and are Maintained and Calibrated as required
Maintaining a stock of parts and material at a level that will enable the maintenance organisation to function in an efficient manner
Ensuring that Documentation and sold parts Control prior Invoicing is done in Timely matter to ensure on Time Invoicing
Any corrective Action Compliance within the given Time Frame resulting from the Quality Compliance Monitoring of EASA Part 145
Qualification / Experience :
Minimum of five years’ experience as Supply Chain Manager or equivalent position
Aerospace industry and Project Management experience highly desired
Proven leadership qualities as well as experience and expertise in key areas of supply chain and its procedures
Good understanding of quality management processes
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies or green belt certification
Capacity to re-arrange organizational structures and empower employees for change management
Completed university degree with business-management and logistics background or comparable knowledge and abilities
Good IT knowledge (ASO,MS-Office, etc.)
Fluent in German and English
