Switzerland or AustriaOur Account Executives are responsible for end-to-end strategic management of their customer’s account.

That’s right their customer. Because if you’re a Teradata Account Executive, we’ll entrust you to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients, for us and for your own personal development and ongoing success.

We know this is a big ask, but it’s what makes our Account Executives stand out from the crowd. Does this sound like you?

You’re responsible for delivering Teradata’s unique portfolio of solution products and services to your customer, our client.

Hence, you’ll need the experience and technical ability to see and assess their challenges in order to provide our best possible solutions for their needs.

Your direct solutions sales experience is as vital as your ability to seek out and capitalise opportunities for profitable growth.

This means working closely with your customer, both as a consultant and as a trusted advisor. Teradata’s professional reputation and range of solutions and services is second to none, so you’ll be a trusted ambassador for our brand.

Your communication skills must be such that you can identify and clearly explain solutions to your customer, and that means right up to the C- suite.

Excellent collaborative and organisational skills are a must, too, because you’ll be part of a greater Teradata team of technologists, sales colleagues and partners, all working together for the best interest of our customers.

And it goes without saying that you’ll have the strong personal skills to quickly build trust and respect between you and your customer.

  • You’ll ideally haveSeveral years’ experience selling software & services, specifically in the analytics and data management space with a demonstrated success recordBroad Telco knowledge and contacts to uncover new business opportunities for Teradata solutionsAbility to identify the client’s business needs and problems, capable to raise them and articulate a solution for itSuccess developing new account opportunities to C-Level executivesHave an entrepreneur SpiritA Bachelor’s degree;
  • though a Masters would be nice, it’s not a deal breaker we’re more interested in the whole you, not just the parts.And if you’re driven to be the best, and want to join the best analytics and solutions provider, we’ll recognise and reward your skills.
