The Media Technology & IT team finds technical solutions to shape the way in which our business can work efficiently. We are not only supporting in realizing a vision and bringing content to life, but we also facilitate the management, storage, and distribution of content, the entire technical infrastructure for a 360 media company as well as services to enhance your digital workplace.

Hence, we provide a strategic portfolio of state-of-the-art tools and services that span across the whole digital media supply chain as well as the entire media and IT technology stack.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with :

In your role as Kotlin Developer, you’ll develop new or enhance existing business services using Kotlin on modern tech-stack.

With your technical background, you’ll have special attention on maintainability, operability and reliability. You’ll also satisfy the teams high standards of design, code quality and test automation.

You ll work in an agile team, which strongly believes in the culture of shared code ownership, pair programming and code reviews.

While designing and implementing solutions, you ll always be supported by your peers and vice versa. We believe in constant constructive feedback as a crucial ingredient for personal development of skills.

Keeping up-to-date with new industry trends and standards is the key for success and the future for our cloud platform. In this exciting role, you ll continuously screen the market for potential new solutions and patterns, which could bring business value and improve our platform.

Furthermore, you’ll attend interesting conferences showing new trends in this area, which will help you to identify the most appealing solutions.

Having evaluated the solutions, you’ll create POCs for showing the potential and usability within the team.

By constantly improving development and operational workflows, using automation you’ll strive to lower the MTTR constantly, allowing us to push features to production constantly.

Over time, you ll start acting as the technical contact person for our software stack, being an important role for internal and external developers.

Explaining complex technical concepts will also be part of your role.

  • At least 3 years practical experience
  • Experience with Kotlin in the area of business services
  • Good software engineering skills and understanding of applying modern software engineering paradigms (like pull requests, code reviews, pair programming, and so on)
  • Awareness of modern CI / CD patterns
  • Strong communication skills & team player
  • Analytical and conceptual working
  • High motivation and willing to constantly self-educate, learn new technologies and drive topics
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or some years of practical experience in this field
  • English fluent, German is a plus
  • Travel up to : 10%
