In motorsport we always give everything and try to get the last bit of power and performance out of our bikes. But in order for us to be able to celebrate great successes with them, the bikes first have to be developed.
As a development engineer* for the engine test benches in motorsport, you are responsible for the further development of combustion-relevant engine components and the optimization of our engines in terms of performance, consumption and emissions.
You handle test bench trials from preparation to evaluation and data presentation on your own responsibility and are in close coordination with internal interfaces.
THE TASKS AWAITING YOU
analysis and optimization of MotoGP engines on the engine test bench with regard to reliability and performance
preparation, execution and evaluation of test bench trials and measurements
execution of application work on the engine test bench as well as parameterization
carrying out data and performance analysis
coordination and control of test bench runs as well as detailed documentation and reporting of results
internal communication with the respective project managers for the further development of the racing motorcycles
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US
successfully completed technical education in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or automotive engineering (Craftsman / HTL / FH / TU)
professional experience in the field of engine application, data recording or test bench technology desirable
knowledge in the use of test bench software (AVL PUMA) and an evaluation tool (Matlab, VBA, Concerto etc.) advantageous
good understanding of English, both written and spoken as well as active motorcycle and motorsport affinity
communicative and flexible personality with team spirit, organizational skills and hands-on mentality
analytical, creative and solution-oriented thinking as well as a structured, methodical and precise way of working and absolute reliability
