The Junior Acoustic Engineer will work in Vienna. The role provides the opportunity to take on technical challenges and gain practical experience in the development of audio products, working within an international and vibrant team of engineers.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist team members by conducting standard acoustic measurements
  • Preparation and testing of prototype samples
  • Lab maintenance and care (fixing equipment and cables etc)
  • Scripting measurement procedures in MATLAB
  • Compiling reports on test results
  • Fault finding analysis of customer complaints and market returns

  • Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Audio Engineering / Acoustics / Physics discipline, completed or in progress. Applicants from an Electrical / Mechanical engineering background with a strong interest in audio will also be considered
  • Knowledge of audio engineering concepts (Electro- / Acoustics, Audio Electronics)
  • Experience with using MATLAB and Audio Precision tools
  • Experience with fault-finding in the context of audio systems
  • Hands-on experience in conducting audio measurements
  • Skilled in Technical writing
  • Effective collaborator and team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • High motivation to contribute to the growth of an already very successful company

    Your performance is remunerated with a market-compliant salary, exceeding the legal minimum of the collective agreement Allgemeines Handelsgewerbe and being in the range of EUR 1,584.
