A Day in the Life

  • Achieve revenue expectations aligned to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and market growth in a profitable manner for both IO and VCF
  • Segment accounts to focus on Key IO and VCF centers where there is capacity and willingness to treat more patients. Establish patient flow through dedicated referral activities.
  • Initiate new business growth opportunities based on unmet customer requirements while providing focus to move ideas into execution for the Interventional business
  • Analyze market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources with a clear focus on how we can secure and / or increase market share
  • Drive alignment in other functional areas such as medical affairs, training and education, reimbursement, regulatory, supply chain, commercial excellence and legal
  • Champion operating processes and provide timely input for forecast, inventory control, phase in / out plans, customer & regional needs, AOP, forecast and LBE.
  • Develop and maintain contact with the Key Opinion Leaders, relevant Healthcare Professionals for the Interventional business and build partnerships with physician / healthcare organizations to better understand the market and being able respond to market needs, current and future; anticipation is key
  • Contribute to the EMEA Interventional strategy setting by communicating and making proposals regularly with Interventional leader and peers.
  • Must Haves

  • Multiple years of progressively expanding marketing and / or sales responsibilities, with consistent strong performance
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales & marketing management as well as other functions
  • Strong ability to get plans executed
  • Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive professional objectives. Highly motivated, can do attitude with strong influence management skills
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate (written or verbal) at all levels in an organization and with diverse groups. Proven track record of good judgment.
  • Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers / subordinates / all internal and external customers

  • Strong Sales, market & business development competences
  • Familiar with Business Conduct Policies in a multinational environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English and German. Any other European language is an advantage.
  • Readiness to travel internationally

  • Experience in highly competitive market
  • Experience with capital equipment and consumables
  • Experience with spinal therapies and equipment
  • Understanding of the oncological field
  • Business or Healthcare related (medical or scientific) degree or its equivalent.
