As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll work with a cross-functional team to help drive our listings business, helping us grow our share of folks who use Redfin to sell their home.
You’ll be responsible for driving results by managing our marketing messaging and collateral for both our agents and our customers, and by working with a cross-functional team to improve our service through new programs and better sales materials.
This is a highly visible role that will work directly with leadership, on projects that are critical to growth at Redfin.
Develop our customer messaging : You’ll develop marketing messages that make selling with Redfin the obvious choice. You’ll rigorously test new messages, and work with design & engineering to get the best ones in front of customers, online and in-person.
You’ll also be at the center of our go-to-market plans for the launches of new markets and new product launches.
Be the authority on the customer : You’ll talk to our customers and agents and analyze competitors, to determine ways to improve our service.
Based on this input, you’ll work with product, engineering, and real estate operations to create new programs and services.
You’ll partner with Customer Insights to develop research objectives and plans..
Rally the team : To bring your vision to life, you’ll need to work with engineering, real estate operations, program management and analytics to increase the number of sellers who work with Redfin.
You’ll also mentor more junior teammates on product category strategy, as well as broader Marketing and Redfin strategy
Be at the center of the action : You’ll be a contributor to our category strategy, acting as a leader on individual strategy teams.
You’ll define success metrics for the category and regularly report on results to a broad audience. Including senior executives.
Crunch the numbers : You love a good dashboard and have experience building a great rapport with analytics teams.
Desired skills and experience
History of driving results : You’ll have 8+ years of experience owning product marketing for successful customer product(s) or service(s), and you know what it takes to deliver positive results.
You’ll have experience building basic P&Ls and partnering with Finance on more complex ones.
Messaging master : you’re a great writer and have experience creating effective customer-messaging for products or services, and running tests to optimize.
Great communicator & relationship builder : you’ll be the link between our clients, real estate agents, engineering, analytics, business development and marketing teams, so you’ll need stellar communication skills you can customize for different audiences.
Need for speed : we move fast at Redfin, so you'll need to quickly synthesize a lot of information down to a simple set of steps to keep making progress against goals.
Comfortable getting scrappy : You’ll need to think big in this role, but also get a lot done on your own. You're as comfortable writing copy and creating training outlines as you are setting the strategy for new campaigns and services.
