Introduction

Value Added Services, New Technologies and out of this Engineered Products (EPs) play an important role in our differentiation strategic and growth plans with focus on the core segment High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC).

Engineered Products are finished or semi-finished manufactured parts that are ready to use or nearly ready to use by the end customer, and voestalpine High Performance Metals provides the main functionality.

This means the customer can put this part right away into a tool, a machine, or an assembly with no or only minor finishing steps.

At voestalpine we are going to integrate new business models in the segment of HPDC so our customers will benefit from increased productivity, savings in several production areas and significantly reduced logistic efforts.

To support our growth plans, we are currently looking for a Segment Manager (Junior) High Pressure Die Casting.

Job description

  • Support the worldwide growth of Engineered Products (EPs) in respect of sales and product launch activities, market research, innovation process, pilot tests and roll out process
  • Central point of contact for questions, support, and ideas to EPs for High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)
  • Project controlling including gate keeping, preparation of project meetings and schedule control
  • Support the global reporting (e.g. KPI reports, marketing and sales analyses, creation of action recommendations)
  • Support in creation of marketing documents and digital marketing activities
  • Preparation and support of trainings and education activities (worldwide)
  • Support in qualification of internal and external manufacturing partners
  • Support of cross-selling activities to the existing sales organisation
  • Qualifications

  • University degree in one of the following areas : technical engineering, industrial engineering, technology management, material science or similar
  • Basic knowledge in the segment of High Pressure Die Casting and / or tool making
  • Basic knowledge in innovation / technology management
  • Basic experience in project & portfolio management
  • Excellent communication and sales skills and ability to work with culturally diverse people
  • Excellent written and verbal German and English skills
  • Worldwide travels are required to fulfil the responsibilities of this position
  • What we offer

    Salary Package and Benefits : The collective minimum salary agreement for this position is € 2.763,02 gross (14 x per year).

    The actual payment depends on the particular qualification and experience.
