Environment and Purpose

This position provides the Management of HOERBIGER Deutschland Holding (HDH), Hoerbiger CTO and HQ Management with information, which is necessary for financial decisions and acts as a partner in financial decisions.

The main goal in the next 3 years is to improve and develop the controlling processes. HDH Controlling needs a fundamental reporting structure with a global standard, more transparency and reports with global view.

This will be part of the global role as Corporate Controller in the HDH organisation. Furthermore in the next 2 years there will be an automatic reporting of P&L and project reports.

This role will be an interface between HDH and customers within the HOERBIGER Group, especially collaboration with the HOE divisions will be an important part of this role.

It is vital that all contracts within HOERBIGER and with external partners are reviewed and in place within the next 3 years.

So legal know how is vital and desired.

Changes in the next 3 years

Hoebiger is currently rolling out SAP HANA in all its around 80 legal entities worldwide. In the next 3 the Controller of HDH will be fully involved in the planning and reporting of the IT related projects and costs.

This is the best chance to create the new setup within the IT global processes to allign this with the departments in HDH.

As Corporate Controller it will the responsibility to guide the rollout and implement processes that benefit the HDH Organisation.

The USP of this role is to be a vital part of the IT and HDH organization as well as being part of the change that will excel the HDH organization to the next level of a service driven Holding.

The contact to various Hoerbiger Divisions and rollout of one the biggest change projects within Hoerbiger are further unique selling propositions.

The next carrer step would be taking over more additioanl tasks within the HQ division of Hoerbiger or the change to an operational controlling position in one of the Hoerbiger Divisions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Optimization of HDH / IMMO business processes and reporting, Controller for central functions such as Payroll and purchasing
  • Operational tasks in SAP System
  • Budgeting and Forecasting HDH / IMMO / IT
  • Approval of procurements according to Budget
  • Investment planning and Monitoring
  • IT reporting and controlling improvements in line with service offerings
  • ensure legal and compliance standards are met

  • Efficient working between Schongau, Vienna and Zug
  • Based on wage structure agreements, we are offering a gross monthly salary starting at € 4.000 with respect to individual qualifications and experience.

    Technical or Functional Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of SAP, esp. PS, SD, CO
  • Sound financial background
  • Legal and contractual Know-how
  • Excellence analytic thinking
  • Well established MS Office experience
  • Maintain the company's overall system of accounts, books and records on all company transactions and assets.
  • Manage company’s daily cash flow.
  • Assist with formulating the financial objectives and policies of the company and then prepare reports that outline the company's progress towards those objectives and financial position in terms of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
  • Ensure accurate & timely financials are in compliance with german GAAP, IFRS standards with adherence to tight closing calendar.
  • Identify any areas of concern in financials for investigation & resolves.
  • Experience and Essential Requirements

  • A proven track record of performance, where timelines are achieved and deadlines are consistently met detail oriented and driven to succeed.
  • Communication skills for credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong and broad experience in accounting and controlling.
