Scrum Master (m / f / x) Salzburg Vienna Düsseldorf Paris Remote (European time zones) To accelerate our current expansion to Germany and France, we're looking for a developer advocate with a strong software engineering background to strengthen one of our end-to-end engineering teams.

In this role, you'll build strong relationships with our partner community and produce high-quality content to streamline our developer experience.

Our products are used in more than twenty thousand locations in Austria, and we are currently expanding to France and Germany.

Your future role As the Scrum Master of our engineering team(s), you will be responsible for ensuring that Scrum is understood and embodied, and that the teams fully embrace Agile practices and Scrum values in order to produce high quality work and reach their goals.

You will support not just the teams and individuals, but the organization as a whole, in maximizing the delivery of business value by coaching us in Scrum and Agile practices, in a way that best fits our needs.

Aside from facilitating and supporting scrum events, your ultimate purpose will be to coach the teams in self-organizing and cross-functionality, while operating at a high-functioning level.

You will strive to instill to the teams that continuous improvement should be present in all team practices, development processes and products.

Not only will you try to anticipate and remove impediments that get in the teams' way, you will mentor the teams into handling them on their own, by creating a trusting and safe environment in which unexpected changes are welcomed by a team that has been taught how to adapt and respond appropriately to feedback.

We expect from you to coach teams how to "own" their work and reach mature levels of Scrum while doing so. Your understanding of the company's technology, products and needs will help you guide the teams through defining and setting consistent and collaborative processes throughout the engineering organization, as well as communicating risks and resolving issues that may arise.   • Several years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Familiarity with agile development frameworks and practices
  • Excellent English oral & written communication skills
  • High levels of engagement, initiative, self-motivation, adaptability, responsibility and accountability
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Good time-management, prioritization and organizational skills

  • Support if you want to grow into the role of an Agile Coach The minimum salary for this position is EUR 50,000 per year.
