In order to reach the objectives in a new but fast growing and technology evolving market, Plastic Omnium has set up a dedicated Division New Energies division focusing on Hydrogen Storage, Fuel Cell Stack and Integrated Hydrogen Systems

MISSION

  • Management of the Industrial team located in Wels
  • Management of the manufacturing team on Pilot line
  • Deliver with his team Industrialization to project on fuel cells
  • Management of building facilities and site maintenance
  • Driving of continuous improvement, technical modifications, and propose cost savings
  • RESPONSIBILITIES

    Activity 1 : Industrialization

  • Ensure manufacturability feasibility with his team and mechanical integration team, (Design to Manufacture)
  • Ensures that industrial teams define industrial processes, provide specifications, supply, install and validate manufacturing equipment on time
  • Optimize manufacturing equipment cost through synergies between different fuel cell system projects
  • Review industrialization projects to guarantee attainment of objectives
  • Ensure that equipment are fully respected the safety rules
  • Activity 2 : Production and Operation

  • Ensure production with his team on pilot line
  • Ensure production on time, quality of the parts
  • Ensure respect of the production / quality procedure
  • Ensure Communication with quality and logistic department
  • Activity 3 : Facility and site maintenance management

  • Ensure adequacy between business / R&D needs and facility / building adaptations. Propose building modifications in order to achieve business and R&D targets
  • Ensure respect of budget in terms of OPEX and CAPEX expenses for building and maintenance
  • Ensure corrective and preventive maintenance for means and equipment, including building
  • Activity 4 : Management

  • Must comply with all rules, policies and procedures
  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Responsible to supervise and develop direct reports
  • Leads objective setting and assessment process of his / her team
  • Responsible to define and ensure realization of the training plan
  • A ctivity 5 : Best practices sharing

  • As member of the industrial team : Facilitate inter-plant and department communication and training to ensure cross plant transfer of experience and information
  • Capitalizes learnings and fosters exchanges on identified best practices
  • Actively participate in Continuous improvement and corrective action activities.

  • Coordinate Lean Manufacturing training
  • BACKGROUND

    Mechanical Engineering

    Job Technical skills

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in industrialization / manufacturing, automotive preferred
