The Materials Director (m / f / d) will be based in AT Althofen and lead the global inventory and demand management team to sustainably improve inventory performance.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates : Intense collaboration Passionate customer focus Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement Relentless drive to win Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do : Supervise global demand management team Work closely with your team to ensure global strategies and policies are effectively developed, communicated and implemented driving best practices Follow and enforce company rules and regulations for reducing and controlling inventory Work closely with sites, investigate and review issues and drive corrective action Oversee daily activities of team and provide guidance as needed Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner Maintain training materials and organize trainings to Flex supply chain members Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports for executive leadership team Lead forecast review meetings with senior management on regular basis Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy Coordinate with inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory level Here is some of what you’ll need (required) : A finished degree in areas such as business ideally with a focus on supply chain Demand and / or inventory management experience Strong communication and intercultural skills Excellent English skills are a requirement for this role Scheduling flexibility to take part in early and / or late calls in different global regions is required in this role Willingness to travel internationally ( 20% on average) Here Are a Few Of Our Preferred Experiences Experience working with ERP systems (ideally LN / Infor Baan) Ideally hands-on experience in inventory management, e.
