Microsoft’s Public Sector division serves our largest Public Sector customers, by helping them maximize the digital transformation opportunity using Microsoft's suite of enterprise cloud offerings and showcase the value that can be realized from new technology.

As our new Account Executive at Microsoft Austria you will lead our Public Sector customers into the digital age by managing, orchestrating and leading their virtual teams and closing opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Business Relationship Owner : Build coalition of support (IT and business) with customer and define specific business outcomes.
  • Team Mobilizer and Orchestrator : Mobilize the entire account team and direct clear opportunity ownership in strong collaboration with partners.
  • Digital Transformation Leader and Operational Excellence Lead : Lead, drive and manage opportunities for each of the 4 Digital Transformation pillars and 4 Solution Areas, wih consistent, repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets.
  • Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business background, with significant technology-related experience, that includes extensive direct contact with customers and partners within Public Sector
  • Proven track record achieving sales quota
  • Executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with senior government decision makers and articulating how government institutions can digitally transform with Microsoft solutions
  • Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-
  • relevant solutions, address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments

  • Experience in leading and driving the entire sales cycle, orchestrating virtual selling teams where necessary, leveraging repeatable offerings that maximize revenue / market share / consumption opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
  • Fluency in both German and English - spoken and written
  • Salary : base pay from 83000 Euro per annum.
