It is an entirely cloud-based licensed e-money institution for the provision of payment services in the countries of the European Economic Area and a Principal Member of MasterCard and Visa for issuing and acquiring and a partner to leading global companies, such as Microsoft and Alipay.

Just recently Viva Wallet has completed a substantial investment round and will now expand to several European countries.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to join our Viva Wallet team in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate is a highly self-motivated person and will be responsible for contributing by qualifying leads and closing deals over the phone.

Main responsibilities

  • Contact customers via phone, inform the customers about the offered products and services, answer questions and handle objections professionally
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements
  • Close sales over the phone
  • Forward prospects to the field sales team (when needed)
  • Enter and update customer information in the database and keep records of calls, sales and other useful information
  • Handle complaints accordingly to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Promote team spirit and be committed to constant learning
  • Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Requirements

    To be considered you should have :

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a B2B Telesales Representative or in other sales / customer service roles
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota (preferably over the phone)
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM, Microsoft Office, etc.) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and explain them to potential customers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Excellent use of German language (knowledge of English language will be considered a plus)
  • The ability to deal with a diverse client base
  • High school diploma (BA will be considered a plus)
  • Basic understanding of the (card) payment industry (desirable)
  • Sales experience in the payment services or web-based software products industry (desirable)
