Ultrawideband (UWB) is a technology that allows precise localization together with a high level of security. A large phone supplier has already integrated this technology in their top tier mobile phones.

At NXP we bring the UWB technology to the next level, combining UWB radar with Artificial Intelligence (AI). When using AI, data collection and the enhancement of measurement systems is a key activity.

Generating quality data with ground truth and in different conditions allows to develop robust AI algorithms. In this context we give great emphasis to data collection and measurement system improvements.

Objectives :

Familiarize yourself with UWB radio technology

Get basic understanding of UWB localization and radar

Perform field measurements with NXP devices

Support development of Artificial Intelligence algorithm for UWB

Your Profile :

Master student in electrical engineering, software engineering or similar studies

Knowledge of embedded software architectures

Personal engagement and eagerness to learn,

Good communication skills in English

Experience with C / C++, Python or MATLAB is a plus

Knowledge in Machine Learning and RF is a plus

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 15- gross / hour.
