Better is enabled by trust and respect In this position, you will be a key member of the Western Union International Bank Accounting function in Vienna.
Your main focus will be to support in the preparation of local financial statements for defined jurisdictions. You will work closely with the Accounting Leader in Vienna and team members in other locations.
We are operating in a company matrix fashion, and part of your role will be to support oversight of the outsourced processes in our office in Lithuania.
In addition, you will be a key contact for the Western Union International Bank’s regulatory reporting requirements towards the wider Western Union firm, as well as auditors.
You will also act as a back-up for regulatory reporting towards several banking supervision authorities.For this role, we require you to have progressive professional experience in Accounting within a large international organisation.
Experience of working in a Banking / financial institution or Auditing / Tax Advisory company would be preferred, although there is flexibility on this aspect.
You will be experienced in working with Austrian GAAP and preferably also US GAAP. A degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or equivalent education / experience is desired.
You will have to be fluent in English, and German language skills are strongly preferred. You will have to be adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
