We are looking for an astute Commercial (Business to Business) Collections Analyst to collect on unpaid invoices for software services for a broad, global customer base.
This will include identifying and resolving invoicing discrepancies and / or disputes, obtaining promises to pay and notating accounts, updating customer records as needed, and engaging on process improvement initiatives.
You will be measured on your ability to reduce past due Accounts Receivable and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). A successful Collections Analyst must be assertive, highly organized, and have the ability to tirelessly follow up with internal resources as well as customers.
Additionally this role requires someone who is detail-oriented, who can work independently, and who has the ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly in a fast paced environment.
Main Responsibilities :
Contacting global customers via phone, email or other means regarding past due invoices.
Coordinating internal resources to resolve billing issues, customer disputes and total account reconciliations.
Participating in process improvement initiatives and providing feedback on the Collections Process.
Utilizing NetSuite to pull daily reports and update customer records with notes as needed.
Researching SalesForce and SharePoint to investigate and resolve unpaid invoices.
Escalating any issues that require additional assistance.
Preparing periodic status reports on your customer portfolio and weekly internal AR Reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
3 5 years’ experience as a collections or billing analyst at a global company.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.
Experience using NetSuite, SalesForce and Sharepoint is preferred.
The ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
German speaker with proficiency in English is required. (Other European languages are a plus Dutch, French, Polish, Spanish, Swiss, etc.)

The minimum annual gross salary package for this position amounts to EUR 35.784, plus overpayment in line with the market depending on qualifications and experience.
