The Role

Ryanair DAC is currently seeking a Deputy Director of Safety / Safety Manager (ORO GEN.200). Based in our Head Office in Dublin, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and continued development of the Ryanair Safety Management System.

With a current fleet of over 450 aircraft across our new group structure (Ryanair DAC, Ryanair UK, Buzz, Malta Air and Lauda) this is an exciting role to work with our senior management team to ensure the continued safety of the Ryanair operation.

Reporting to our Director of Safety & Security you will maintain and seek to continuously develop and improve the Ryanair Safety Management System.

You will :

  • Be the Company Safety Manager as required by ORO GEN.200.
  • Be the Operational Flight Data Monitoring Programme Manager as required by ORO.GEN.200.
  • Maintain and seek to continuously develop and improve the Safety Management System.
  • Manage a Team of experienced professionals in the Ryanair Safety Services Office.
  • Ensure that robust processes are in place for effective safety communication throughout Ryanair.
  • Be the focal point for Regulatory Authorities for Safety Management System matters.
  • Requirements

  • Hold or have held an ATPL.
  • A minimum of five years experience in a relevant management position within an airline / aviation company.
  • Broad technical knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety management systems and aviation regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills
