Job Description

  • Lead and manage the GMP analytical team focused on method validation and GMP testing
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources, setting priorities and planning of mid and long term strategic orientation
  • Attract and develop associates, create individual development plans and motivate the team
  • Ensure that the GMP analytical lab is audit ready at all times
  • Plan method validations for the SDC development projects
  • Ensure method transfers to CMOs and manufacturing facilities occur within the project timeline
  • Communicate the status of GMP analytical projects, key issues and any other critical topics
  • Ensure GMP support for analytical testing as needed and perform efficient technical transfers to the production sites for registration and launch production purposes
  • Support dossier compilation through close collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs department
  • Provide analytical support during the product registration phase
  • Take a lead role during internal and external audits and inspections
  • Minimum requirements

  • Education : University degree in natural sciences (pharmacy, analytical chemistry or equivalent)
  • Languages : fluent in English and German
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical development and leading GMP lab activities, thorough understanding of product development activities, knowledge of relevant GMP guidelines, regulatory requirements and implementation of best practices, strong scientific project management and leadership skills, proficient with laboratory and / or technical tools and excellent scientific / technical writing skills

    The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 60,355.68 per year).
