Job Description

Being the technical advisor for eSIM solutions.

Working closely with MNO customer application support to understand / debug the issues reported by various MNO / OEMs

Helping / Interfacing / supporting OEM to commercialize eSIM solution

Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements and determine the best solution and carry it through all levels of design and implementation

Understand technical specifications and MNO specific customizations in the Telecom / eUiCC domain and provide early inputs to product implementation teams

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook in establishing relations with global cross functional team

Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view and a good team player.

Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel for meeting the business commitments.

Mandatory Skill Set :

Total 10-15 years’ experience in telecommunication SIM industry

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in defining SIM / ESIM product requirements and roadmap activities for North American / EU / China carriers

Expert level knowledge on telecommunication platform technical specification for eSIM / eUICC.

Have good experience as working contributor to SIM / eSIM technical forums

Good exposure on Java card Operating system based on Java card version 3.0.5 and understanding of applet lifecycle.

Practiced on creating architecture diagrams, Network Simulator / device / UICC testing tools

Knowledge of Card lifecycle states, Data store, Logical channel management, Keys management, Card Content Management, secure channel protocols (SCP 02, SCP03, SCP11 etc.

contactless services, GP APIS and various CASD scenarios

Expert understanding of hashing and symmetric / asymmetric cryptographic algorithms like SHA, DES, AES, RSA and ECC for various key lengths.

Standards :

ETSI, 3GPP2 standards used for UICC, SIM, Toolkit and OTA features.

SGP22, SIMAliance (SIPP), ISO 7816, ISO 14443

Experience in eSIM Profile development

Experience in working with ESIM tool vendors

NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 70.

000 gross. Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible.
