Creative Project Manager (m / f / d)
This position is at the center of marketing project excellence for Burton Europe. The Creative Project Manager oversees the projects portfolio and resource management of marketing efforts across digital, environmental design, events, and new ventures -
promoting a design-focused approach every step of the way. The Creative Project Manager will partner closely with the international team to leverage global assets and processes to execute in Europe.
This role reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing Europe, with dotted line reporting to Director of Global Creative Services Operations in the US headquarters.
THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION ARE :
Serve as the liaison between the European marketing team, the global creative team and regional organizations
Build and lead a team of freelance creatives including graphic design, photography, cinematography and copywriting
Responsible for creating, monitoring and continuously improving the creative workflow from initial scoping and estimating to resource management, stakeholder reviews and final delivery
Oversee department budgets by working closely with the Integrated Marketing Director
Share creative vision with team and across the organization to ensure consistent messaging across Burton Europe’s creative assets ranging from consumer-
facing assets to internal corporate documents
Collaborate with marketing team and across departments to capture creative needs and convert into creative briefs
ESSENTIALS FOR THIS ROLE ARE :
Degree in media, marketing or communications
Broad creative know-how with expertise in one of the following : design, video, photo or print production
Minimum 2 years of experience working for an advertising agency or within a creative marketing team of a recognized brand
Proven track record of strong project management skills with the ability to execute complex projects with tight deadlines and strong attention to detail and follow-through
Advanced skills with MS-Office
Hands-on mentality with a proactive work attitude
Excellent oral and written language skills in English
Affinity for the outdoor sports lifestyle
