Your Job

The Regional Sales Manager Austria / Switzerland is responsible for footwear and apparel sales revenue for all retail channels, which includes retailers from Buying Groups as well as from Key Accounts and independent retailers.

He / she contributes to the establishment of sales goals, strategies, and budgets relative to accounts within the territory.

He / she will also oversee management of sales reps in achieving sales goals, as well as working with the marketing team on establishing and executing marketing plans for key and field accounts in the respective channel.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Manage Brooks’ business with sales reps and key accounts within Austria and Switzerland to include traveling and working with all Sales Reps when appropriate
  • Develop brand concepts, strategic sales forecasts, product sales plans, and annual revenue goals for each assigned account.
  • Develop strategic sales programs that drive sell thru at retail and position Brooks as the leader in performance running, including events
  • Lead all seasonal sell in presentations to insure backlog growth and increased market share at all accounts for both footwear and apparel.
  • Take an active role in retail promotions at all key and strategic accounts. Work closely with the Marketing team to develop seasonal marketing programs, including in-
  • store promotions, expos, store running teams, etc.

  • Drive the footwear and apparel strategy and revenue plan for Austria and Switzerland
  • Serve as the primary communication source for Brooks Sports Inc. with Sales Reps and customers
  • Provide field feedback on competitor products, programs and services, as well as marketplace activities
  • Support the Sales Manager Central Europe on all SRA business and special projects
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related field or
  • 4+ years of footwear and apparel sales experience
  • Strong ability to analyze POS data and understand a retailer’s PNL
  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent presentation and strong conceptual thinking skill
  • General computer proficiency with intermediate to advanced skills in Office products Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all of the pieces fit together and affect one another.
  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products or other departments’ operations and / or morale; connecting the dots.
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help out wherever necessary.
  • Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
