Principle duties and essential functions
As an NPI-LCE Project Manager, you will manage assigned features within NPI, you will represent the industrialization function as the NPI project lead, working closely with R&D.
Also the NPI-LCE Project Manager will (be) :
Responsible for driving all NPI activities, material purchasing, and EM builds, from the early stages of the project, through FOB, and ramp-up.
The interface between R&D and the EMS partners. Assess project investments for NPI / transfer projects.
Responsible for making sure EMS partner has understood the build standard, and for giving product training to EMS staff when required.
Implement PFMEA to ensure process suitability.
Work with R&D during the development phase to make sure that the product developed meets the expected DFx requirements.
Ensure all manufacturing documentation is generated and released within the PLCP process and updated according to the ECR / ECO process.
Support the EMS partner during production ramp-up and resolve technical issues
Implement cost control for NPI products between concept and launch
Assure necessary test capacity is implemented according to ramp-up plan and mature volume
Leading and moderating regular NPI meetings with all relevant project team members, according to the PLCP process, including project kick-off and post-assessment reviews
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred
Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering
Profound knowledge in Electrical manufacturing processes, optical components, DWDM, and CWDM technology
Project management methodologies
Knowledge of all standard MS-Office applications, and ERP systems such as Agile and SAP
Fluent English language capability in written and spoken
Team player, effective communicator, authority, plan & organization skills, analytical, result-oriented with inter-cultural capabilities
