Are you fascinated by the development of service and collaborative robots and bring in simulation expertise plus the necessary system understanding for electric motors and drives?

Excellent. If you additionally enjoy close cooperations with university and industrial partners, you are the right person for this job! In your new job you will :

Simulate and optimize new lightweight motor types (CAD, FEM, Spice)

Integrate those motors in complete drives systems (electrical and mechanical)

Define and evaluate system architectures of electric drives for manipulation, actuation as well as propulsion of eBikes, scooters, collaborative robots and multicopters

Work in close cooperation with universities and industrial partners

Define quantifiable technical value proposition and collaterals for our products and services in these applications

Contribute to the application roadmap by technical expertise of motors, inverters and drives

Conduct training material on motors, inverters and drives with internal and external stakeholders

Provide structured and comprehensive inputs of generated knowledge to the technical community and R&D as well as to Sales, Marketing and Distribution

With your entrepreneurial and team spirit, business understanding and technical knowledge, you collaborate with people from different functions to continuously deliver outstanding results and meet the set direction.

You have the passion and the courage to develop and challenge new solutions and creative ideas, which you explain in a clear and convincing manner.

Furthermore, your industrial and academic partners are always at the heart of your thoughts and actions and you are able to establish trusting and long-term relationships.

Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have :

A degree in electric / electronic engineering, industrial engineering or a related field

At least 3 years of relevant work-experience in R&D, Application Engineering or System Engineering of drives systems

Profound expertise in systems simulations, spice-simulations and FEM simulations

Fast understanding of new more complex drives systems applying improved sensing functionality and signal processing

Proven people management capabilities , especially for supervising students

Good organizational skills as well as a motivated and self-driven mindset

Excellent communication skills in English , especially for cooperations with universities and industrial partners

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https : / / www.
