Main Responsibilities

key areas : Employee Relations :

Employee Relations :

Employee Life Cycle (New Hires, Changes, Terminations) :

T&Cs for hiring offers and labour contracts

Work attendance

Work schedule & flexible working

Holiday & leave of absence (sickness, maternity etc.)

Changes (new manager, new organization, new job code etc.)

Terminations (voluntary and involuntary)

Support managers and HRBPs for :

Hiring process coach managers on how to raise new requisitions, gather all relevant information

Compensation changes* coach managers on how to raise requests via GEMS (salary increases, allowances, variable pay, R&R etc.)

  • Comp&Ben to be engaged into compensation changes outside of the guidelines
  • RIF : calculation / execution / tracking

    TUPE : provide legal background for implementation of TUPE projects

    Labor Relations :

    Business Ethics support with communication to employees on Ethics activities

    Investigations (Business Ethics & HR Referrals) :

    Assigned as investigators, complete process in line with internal guidelines

    Complete the required documentation after investigation

    Lead disciplinary process in line with local legislation

    Local labour legislation :

    Ensure 100% compliance with country labour legislation

    Act as point of contact for local Labour Authorities* (HRBP as legal rep.)

    Lead trainings to HRBPs / managers / employees on changes in Labour legislation

    Unions / Work Councils - provide legal background, engage in negotiations together with HRBP

    Court Cases - provide support for Court Cases on labour related matters

    HR Policies :

    Implement Global HR Policies at local level

    Employment, Placement, Separation Policy

    Personnel Records, Administration Policy

    Compensations, Hours of Work and Absence Policy

    Benefits and Health Services Policy

    Training and Professional Development Policy

    Review Internal Rules and Regulations and all HR local policies, in line with local labour legislation and global policies

    Lead trainings for managers / employees on HR Policies

    Performance Management :

    Performance Review

    Provide support to employees and managers on Performance Review process

    Coach managers on performance discussions

    Support with GEMS tool for Performance Management

    PIP (Performance Improvement Plan)

    Assist Managers to initiate a PIP

    Participate in monthly performance reviews

    Support managers to prepare PIP documentation

    HR Reporting : GEMS Accuracy

    GEMS Accuracy

    Review changes made by manager via GEMs to ensure details are correct

    Review employment data, cost centres, global job codes etc. to ensure 100% accuracy

    Review compensation details

    Validate terminations

    Job Code cleaning / mapping

    GEMS Reports

    Employee level data : Attrition, headcount, location, cost of employment, absence, salary

    Help managers extract reports on their teams’ data

    HR Data provide HR Analytics to HRBPs

    HR Projects :

    Office moves : provide necessary information to Facilities (headcount, flexible working etc.) handle communication to employees

    Global Transfers

    Work with HRBP and Global Mobility to prepare the transfer

    Support with necessary documentation

    X-Jet tool - role evaluation provide necessary information to HRBP / manager for role evaluation

    Variable Pay - support Comp&Ben to design a standardized process across EMEA

    Benefits contract renewals support Comp&Ben / Procurement with required employees’ data

    Ad-hoc projects to support HRBP, Legal, Payroll, Comp & Ben, TA etc.

    Education Requirements :

    Graduation in specialized field (Example : Bachelor of HR Management etc.) or closely related disciplines or equivalent experience

    Professional Certifications :

    Preferred Member of local HR Professional body

  • For Austria : Fluent in German and English
