Job Description

Primary Function of Position :

The Genesis Training Specialist (GTS) works to expand the utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System by partnering with Sales teams to identify opportunities to implement or improve the effectiveness of Operating Room (OR) processes and staff within new and existing da Vinci Surgery Programs.

The GTS will lead hospital site observation and training designed to identify opportunities to implement da Vinci surgery best practice solutions in standardization, OR efficiency, and staff training.

They will consult with customers on leadership and communication strategies to manage surgical service lines to ensure clinical and administrative teams are equipped to successfully establish and manage sustainable da Vinci Surgery programs.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Conduct Genesis program initiatives with strategically targeted customers

Manage customer events involving multi-departmental collaboration and multi-faceted solutions

Collaborate with sales team on the prioritization and delivery of Genesis resources within their territory

Regularly conduct education events with sales teams within their territory

Collaborate with Genesis teammates to achieve Genesis implementation goals

Conduct and support technology training programs for surgical teams as needed

Participate in improvement initiatives for Genesis processes, deliverables, and other material

On board, coach and mentor new team members

Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to optimize the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Genesis programs

Participate in the training on and launch of new products and / or procedures

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

4 years of documented professional experience in BTB sales, OR process management, and / or hospital staff education development / training

Business acumen ability to function in an executive business environment and understand the business needs of the OR

Communication ability to deliver consistent and effective communication across organizational levels

Training ability demonstrated commitment to customer and peer training, specifically related to advanced technology within a clinical environment

Master complexity ability to plan, organize, and oversee assignments involving multiple teams and individuals

Interdependent partnering demonstrated record / examples promoting collaborative exchange and driving results through others with high communication

Ability to travel up to 50 - 70%

Fluent in English and local language as required

B.S. / B.A. degree preferred or equivalent clinical / medical degree or experience
