We are looking for a Quality Test Engineer to head up a fast-paced agile quality engineering tea. You will be expected to construct, execute, and document test plans and test cases / scripts including regression, integration as appropriate in a manner consistent with team standards while working closely with business analysts and developers to ensure complete test coverage and successful delivery.
A passion for continuous improvement of quality of technology and data is essential.
Job Purpose :
You will work closely with development teams, operations and other quality engineers from other divisions ensuring ongoing best practices and consistency of approach.
You will Work closely with developers, UX, and product managers to ensure the quality of the solutions we deliver.
You will write test cases and automate them, have a view on performance and security testing and have overall responsibility for the quality of the delivered products.
The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, with a proven track record of improving quality on enterprise workflow and message flow solutions.
We are looking a tester who has / is :
At least 3 years of experience as a software tester
Strong attention to details
Self-driven and highly motivation
Focused on developing skill
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute manual, automated and performance (advantage) testing for assigned projects to enable delivery of high-quality software products and services successfully and consistently on time, on budget, and to specification
Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards
Ensure creation of manual test cases and automated tests for all user stories
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
Identify opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to meet testing needs
Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly
Contribute to API & front-end testing frameworks
Experience in testing for enterprise web applications
Good understanding of QA methodologies and process improvement
Experience of testing Web APIs
Experience in test automation and manual testing of Front-End applications
Good understanding of Agile methodologies
Basic understanding of automated test framework (Cypress, Test Cafe, Selenium)
Basic SQL Knowledge
Designing test strategies, plans and processes, methodologies and supporting documentation for functional and non-functional areas
Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms)
