Sales Engineer Planning Support (m / w / d)

The sales engineer with a focus on planning support is responsible for specifying and anchoring Eaton products and solutions in projects and tenders.

He / she develops and supports a network of planning and technical offices as well as end users in Austria and accompanies and coordinates projects in the segments of Commercial and Industrial Building over the entire project life cycle.

With the systematic planning and project approach, he / she makes a lasting contribution to growth in the Commercial and Industrial as well as Light Commercial Building segments as well as increasing the win rate and productivity in the sales organization.

Your key deliverables :

  • Establishment and development of a network of planner contacts and selected end users (developers, architects, etc.)
  • Market, trend and customer analysis as well as ongoing market observation
  • Presentation of the Eaton product portfolio and the Eaton planning and configuration tools in planning and technical offices
  • Development of solutions for the applications of the planning offices together with the specialists at Eaton
  • Project tracking and coordination.
  • Ensuring close networking and efficient knowledge transfer with the individual business units, field product managers, product champions on tools and product solutions
  • Do you have?

  • Electrotechnical or general technical education, e.g. electrical engineering apprenticeship with master's degree
  • Ideally 2-5 years of professional experience in planning support in a technical company
  • Optionally, also for a career changer, 2-5 years of professional experience in a planning or technical office
  • Understanding of project development, planning and tendering processes
  • Experience with tendering tools and platforms
  • Project management knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Optional : experience with CRM tools
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux and other planning tools
  • Good English knowledge and fluent German
  • Solution orientation and technical solution competence
  • Commercial understanding
  • Ability to argue the benefits of products, solutions and tools
  • Good communication skills and a convincing attitude
  • Independent, committed and motivated way of working
  • Experience in networking

    The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications and professional experience, is from EUR 49 000 gross annually, plus bonus.
