Nomad Digital provides connectivity solutions to the transport industry. One of our most recognizable products is the provision of internet connectivity via WiFi on trains and busses.

In addition to providing passengers with access to the public internet we also deliver entertainment and information services (infotainment).

Job Purpose

Working with Nomad’s customers (primarily rail, bus and other transport operators) and Nomad’s delivery and support teams to define and implement web-

based information and entertainment provided as part of an onboard WiFi service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gathering requirements and working with customers to define passenger experience.
  • Presenting our solutions to customers.
  • Working with designers to prepare mock ups to demonstrate how we can meet customer needs.
  • Coordinating between front end delivery teams / agencies, technical teams and commercial to build an offer.
  • Building customer trust working with our commercial teams to close deals.
  • Working with delivery teams to establish a schedule.
  • Ensuring that the customer is given regular updates.
  • Involving customers in decision making using an agile methodology.
  • Working with our support teams to understand any issues with the live service.
  • Working with creative resources / agencies to delivering ongoing content updates.
  • Acting as a consultant to the customer, to understand how they want their passenger engagement to evolve and proposing solutions.
  • Proactively bringing new ideas and solutions to the customer.
  • Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • A relevant degree with professional experience and proven track record of working in a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (e.g. html, css, javascript, php).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent written and spoke English and German.
  • Experience in a web development agency or similar environment.
  • Customer facing experience.
  • Experience in managing the delivery of customer projects.
