AOP Orphan is a European pioneer in the development, marketing and distribution of medicines for people with rare and complex diseases.

To enhance our team in Germany we are looking for two dynamic and proactive

  • Act as primary scientific contact providing responses to unsolicited requests for medical and product information from the stakeholders of the identified area of expertise.
  • Response to customer enquiries in order to ensure clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of our products and services.
  • Development of strong relationships with local and regional KOLs and experts to ensure their access to current medical and scientific information on our products.
  • Product launch activities support and development / implementation of regional strategy and tactical plans.
  • Development and management of contacts with local medical societies as well as with healthcare professionals.
  • Identification of key clinical topics from KOLs and experts.
  • Organization of and participation in product and medical education for healthcare professionals through on-site presentations at healthcare facilities, local professional societies, conferences and Advisory Boards.
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical, or Nursing, ideally with a doctorate
  • A versatile job with a high degree of independence and responsibility
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable position in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit in an innovative company
  • An attractive compensation package including company car and benefits
  • Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics and a strong understanding of Business processes
  • Existing clinical networks especially in the hematology and oncology fields
  • Fluent in German
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to travel extensively
