STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT : 50%
Coordinate complex and strategic Capex projects (Around 100 up to 150 projects)
Participate to Capex Global strategy and goals elaboration : Sell this strategy (develop Road map by BU) to all sites and functions and implement, Ensure business partnering with all key Thermo Fisher internal stakeholders, Set up the appropriate tools to implement this strategy, Benchmark and share proactively and transparently Thermo Fisher practices with best in class companies
Manage constraints and complexity of projects in multi-environment (Biotech, API, OSD, Softgel and Sterile) for Production (Commercial and PDS), Engineering, Business, and Quality and achieve standardization of trademarks and vendors in a combination with global Engineering strategy in a continuous changing SRM environment.
Support and manage Supplier Relationship Management with strategic suppliers (MSA, KPI, regular business reviews, onsite visits )
Develop new sourcing and vendor opportunities including emerging countries
with Global Engineering
Market the Achievements such as Client projects contribution : Earlier revenues on sites, success stories through Newsletters (2 newsletter / year, e.
g : standardization of equipment and suppliers for instance)
COMMERCIAL NEGOTIATION CAPEX PROJECTS SUPPORT : 30%
engineering services activities).
Develop standard documents for tenders (RFP for Capex vendors’ evaluation sheet)
Identify projects, collects and analyses data , prepare tender process (vendor selection- RFP -analysis evaluation) in multi-products (Sterile, solid and liquids forms ) multi-sites , multi-functions local and global corporate functions (Purchasing -Engineering marketing Production - Quality EHS Finance)-
Business : secure / enhance lead-times to get earlier revenues and ensure final customer satisfaction + savings + Reliability of equipment and services
Equipment : Impact on 500 Million$ Capex spent on a corporate basis
Manage site claims to OEM when strategic (revenue impact, strategic customer, critical )
REPORTING & OTHER ACTIVITIES : 20%
QUALIFICATIONS / SOFT-SKILLS :
Engineering / Procurement / Business Management master’s degree or equivalent through experience
Negotiation skills, Client oriented, and result-driven
Multiple language required fluency English and second language Italian or German preferred, French
Cross-functional exp. with different services (Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, General and Business Management, Legal) in an international environment and with multiple technologies (Sterile, Lyo, Solid Forms ).
Strong inter-personal and communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to work successfully with different countries and cultures
Good level procurement skills including project management and negotiation in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Chemical or Agri-Food Industries
Procurement know how in the areas of CAPEX and indirect spend, with IT knowledge
70% travel requirements to visit DPx sites and strategic vendors sites in EU & NA
