Sales Executive - DACH & Eastern Europe

Based in our Vienna Office

SmartStream, a global software and managed services provider to the world’s top banks, asset managers, custodians and broker-dealers, has an excellent position available for a proven and driven Sales Executive to manage and maintain a range of clients across

DACH & Eastern Europe through attaining revenue targets, building and sustaining excellent client relationships and providing client requirements to product management.

The goals are to achieve the sales targets set out for the calendar year by performing the key responsibilities as outlined below : Job Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed all monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Manage sales process through to close including prospecting, pipeline management, RFI / RFP process, contract negotiations
  • Grow and renew all assigned accounts in a timely manner
  • Provide superior customer experience
  • Act as the first line subject matter expert for high level meetings and presentations
  • Regularly identify new and expanded opportunities
  • Participate and lead sales / knowledge presentations for key clients and prospects
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and technology advances
  • Communicate effectively your clients’ needs and requirements with all levels of the SmartStream organization including marketing, product development, technology and operations
  • Ensures account information is current and logs activity and client information into CRM
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, sales training and meetings (roughly 50%)
  • Ability to function in a global team environmentKey Skills
  • Given the location of the role, fluency in English and German is mandatory
  • Track record in exceeding quota targets and sales KPIs
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Effective negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and grasp complex solutions and customer needs quickly
  • Coordination and collaboration required with clients and colleagues located throughout the worldDesirable Skills
  • Experience with reconciliations, cash management, corporate actions, payments or collateral management experience is very advantageous.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant disciplineExperience
  • Experience with pipeline management
  • 2+ years of sales experience selling enterprise level complex software solutions in the DACH financial services markets
