Drive Key Procurement Projects & Initiatives

Initiate and manage cross-functional projects as project manager or contribute to the project’s success as a core team member

Manage project work packages, dependencies, scope changes, etc. in alignment with internal functions (e.g. Planning, Production, Logistics, IT, etc.)

Support the Procurement team with project management tasks (incl. creation of project proposals, time plans, resourcing, coordination of efforts, documentation, execution of workshops, etc.)

Establish an effective governance structure and provide status reports to internal key stakeholders

Optimize and Evolve our Procurement Processes

Work with the Procurement team to identify opportunities for process improvements and future enhancements of current procurement processes

Perform process and data analysis to assess as-is performance and develop to-be scenarios

Manage and coordinate the implementation of process changes and of new cross-functional procurement processes

Ensure appropriate process documentation and implementation of performance measures

Promote the Implementation of Procurement Relevant IT-Systems

Assess business needs for IT systems changes, enhancements, etc. and collaborate with internal functions to identify suitable enablement options

Initiate, coordinate and align the design and implementation of procurement relevant IT-systems and automation solutions (e.

g. in the area of supplier management, planning integration, reporting, etc.)Work with internal functions to manage on-going data expansion and system integration needs to improve workflow performance and enable data analysis and reporting

Establish and cultivate strong partnerships with internal departments such as IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, etc. in order to drive system initiatives

Share and Institutionalize Expertise

Ensure proper documentation of projects, project results and of new or changed workflows (SOP)

Share expertise through training and communications with end-users to support implementation of system changes and resolution of issues

Establish and implement supporting tools and best practices to facilitate procurement activities
