To strengthen our team at the Faculty of Health and Medicine / Department for Economy and Health we are looking for an
Research fellow (m / f / d) - Postdoc
38.5 hours / week Ad. No. SB20-0057
Establishing the research focus "Evidence-based Health Economics"
Close collaboration with the research focus of "Optimising Resource Use in Healthcare"
Conception and soliciting of (competitive) research projects
Assistance with interdisciplinary research projects and scientific / academic studies in the department
Creation of local and (inter)national cooperation projects in research and teaching
Writing academic project reports
Independent academic publication work
Support of quantitively-oriented master's theses, including assessment and grading of final papers
Conception and teaching of courses and holding examinations in the area of healthcare management, health economics, economics, scientific / academic methods and quantitive methods
Completed university degree (Doctorate / PhD) in the field of business and economics, ideally with a focus on health economics and / or labour economics
Experience in publishing in scientific journals
Experience in the conception and carrying out of academic research projects
Applied knowledge of computer-aided analysis programmes (e.g. SPSS)
Excellent command of spoken and written German (C1) and English (minimum B2)
Experience in raising third-party funding is desirable
Teaching experience is desirable
Highly developed communication and organisation competences
Autonomous, flexible and proactive work approach
Full-time position (38.5 hours / week - flexible working hours) initially limited for 18 months and EUR 3,400.00 minimum gross monthly salary of W3 Danube University Krems Work and Remuneration Regulations, Willingness to overpay for appropriate qualifications and professional experience
