SolarWinds MSP is seeking an entrepreneurial Director of Marketing, (International Growth Markets) to lead growth across markets in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

This individual will lead a team to drive demand generation efforts, both through direct activities and through distribution partners.

This is a unique opportunity to own a key leadership role in a high-growth global business.

The ideal candidate have experience leading demand generation in B2B SaaS businesses. This includes a strong knowledge of key digital channels, as well as experience with events, cross-channel marketing campaigns, marketing automation and ABM tactics.

The position is based in Vienna, Austria, with an option to be located out of Edinburgh, Scotland.


  • Develop strategies to create demand for SolarWinds products
  • Work with distribution partners around the world to help them market to their regions
  • Own accountability for the team’s strategy, planning and execution
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Develop a strong familiarity with the company’s products and services, in order to inform the team’s strategy
  • Manage digital marketers, particularly paid search
  • Lead the team in leveraging data and testing to optimize and improve targeting and execution across all channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to anticipate new product launches, drive improvements in quality and throughput of inputs to the team, and to bolster data, reporting and forecasting
  • Ensure the proper tracking, analysis and reporting of spend
  • Define, report on, and optimize key metrics pertaining to new customer adds, cross-sell and feature adoption
  • Qualifications

    Relevant work experience in marketing roles

    Experience leading a team of marketers and owning accountability for demand generation KPI’s for a B2B SaaS company

    Knowledge of digital media optimization, with an emphasis on paid search, social media and website

    Experience developing campaigns leveraging email, display, search, SEO, social, content syndication, affiliate, and referral channels

    Experience with event marketing

    Bachelor's degree

    Oral and written communication skills and attention to detail are important

    Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives

    Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple languages
  • Experience with both direct and channel marketing in Europe
  • Knowledge of MSP or IT markets
  • Experience using Salesforce, email marketing platforms and / or marketing automation platforms (Marketo a plus)
  • Experience working with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
