Role Summary :
The Director IT Architecture leads, consults and oversees multiple architectural engagements. Works on highly complex projects that require in-
depth knowledge within and across multiple technical and functional domains : technical, solutions, business, data or information.
Essential Responsibilities :
Lead and coordinate the technical and business discussions relative to future architectural direction across multiple teams or complex product line(s).
Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Considering various regulatory, statutory and compliance mandates.
Review, analyze and develop architectural at domain level and across multiple teams.
Participate in the business-wide DP and IT & digital governance model.
Contribute to the development of software, data and technology platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different functions.
Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and / or operational support activities to for multiple teams or complex scenarios.
Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain.
The leader is a technical and strategic leader within the function. Will assist in defining, driving, enabling DP’s Digital Thread.
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
Support the selection, training, development, coaching of the growing DP IT team
Qualifications / Requirements :
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s and / or master’s degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) OR A high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Information Technology or Software.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a technical area (Architecture, Software, or Information Technology)
Eligibility Requirements :

Must be willing to travel 25%
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, WI or Jenbach Austria

In depth knowledge of these or similar disciplines :
Service platforms (ie. Oracle FSM, Service Max)
Business intelligent platforms (ie : OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, etc)
Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
Review and / or analyzes and develops architectural requirements at domain level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy.
Lead teams in developing plans and assessing improvement options.
Business Acumen :
Create, analyze and manage projects that provide direct business benefit.
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of business operations and strategic direction, including merger & acquisition opportunities;
understand industry trends and competitive landscape and the implications for CP
Partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs.
Recommend allocation of budget to meet architectural initiatives critical to business / mission success. Develop the business case for approval.
Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout their domain. Define the skills, competencies in the skills and talents for architecture team members.
