VP of Architecture

Are you a software architect with vast experience in data, analytics & AI? Dare to take the architectural lead for our 40+ agile teams?

What you achieve

Within a team of 280+ data, analytics, and AI experts, you are the leading architect. You make sure we create the best possible platforms and applications for structured data, big data, and AI.

From enterprise-scale data warehouses to big data clusters or AI and machine learning applications you have seen it all.

Combining your skills as a software architect with your vast experience in all things data, you lead in a scaled agile setup.

Together with your group of system architects, you ensure that we develop agreements on standards and really adhere to them.

In close collaboration with business or product managers and a team of solution architects, you derive an architectural roadmap for the years to come.

Leveraging your strong leadership skills in a highly matrixed agile setup, you finalize decisions in alignment with all stakeholders involved.

Why you succeed

  • Degree (ETH / Uni / UAS) in computer science or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of data warehousing and data architecture in a large enterprise
  • Experience with enterprise big data installations (Kafka, Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based and hybrid architectures is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in an agile DevOps environment with SAFe is a plus
  • Enthusiastic and flexible self-starter with a desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication skills, experienced in managing different stakeholders
  • Very good English, German or French a plus

  • you start as soon as possible
  • you can partly work from the home office
  • you travel between 30% and 50% of your working time within Switzerland
