Your role :

  • You will demonstrate commitment to HSSE at all times and continuously promotes safety as top priority for the entire organization, through all phases of Development
  • Be accountable for the execution of all E&P projects (>
  • 20 mn gross CAPEX) with end-to-end accountability from TG2. Includes the project delivery performance of the Execution capital projects portfolio in terms of HSE, cost, schedule and quality

  • You will lead the Development Project Execution department, with accountability for a Global network of Multi Disciplinary Teams.
  • Is the expertise holder for the OMV Group for the project execution process in major projects post-TG2, providing support / advice accordingly

  • You will ensure consistent implementation of best practice standards across the portfolio (e.g. project risk management, MoC, Technical Authority Framework, project controls, lessons learned).
  • Proactively identifies and timely addresses any issues or problems during the execution phase to avoid slippage or budget overrun

  • Provide leadership to the Project Delivery community and ensures that key knowledge sharing and learnings are also communicated across the integrated Projects organization.
  • Ensures that execution project managers are supported by high quality, skilled and experienced resources to ensure successful delivery

  • You will be responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with OMV Value centers, and corporate support functions.
  • Maintains strong links to Operations in order to facilitate handover of the asset

  • Ensure application of the standardized OMV Project Delivery philosophy and systems, including standardized work-processes, quality assurance, and internal and external assurance processes.
  • Initiates and manages deep dive reviews and discipline support when necessary, using the global community as appropriate to ensure projects are on track against FID promises

  • You will develop OMV’s project execution capability to meet the requirements of the present and future project portfolio.
  • Develops a Project Execution network and facilitates collaboration amongst the PM community

  • You will ensure that projects through all phases are properly resourced to deliver against their pre-set targets. Provides regular & comprehensive overview of the status of key projects and overall project portfolios, ensuring effective, transparent and timely communication of any key issues
  • Your profile :

  • University Degree (Masters / Diplom) in Engineering, Technology or Sciences
  • Minimum of 15 years progressive and relevant experience in oil and gas, energy or chemicals industry
  • Competence Level 4 and Experience level 4C as a minimum as per OMV System
  • Demonstrable track record leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Successfully executed large and complex projects within a multinational and complex or remote environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, communication and influencing skills.
  • Desire to be a digital champion for E&P Projects supporting the development, application and optimal use of OMV digital tools in projects and ensuring digital innovation is shared across all the MDT's
