With this professorship, the faculty aims to expand and deepen its focus in the field of technology and innovation law. The professorship will be organisationally linked to the Institute of Public Law and Political Science and will focus on the legal issues around new technologies and innovations at the intersection of law, economics and technical implementation.
In connection to the Field of Excellence "Smart Regulation", the teaching activities will focus on imparting the legal framework surrounding innovative technologies and business models as well as the development of new regulation models.
The successful candidate is expected to be willing to engage in interdisciplinary teaching and research, the collaboration within university research networks and project-related cooperation with legislation, jurisdiction, administration and business is desirable.
We also expect gender mainstreaming skills.
