What will you do?
The Global Service & Support segment of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Life Sciences Group has an exciting opportunity to expand the reach of our service contract offerings and help drive revenue growth within our division.
Key responsibilities :
Meet or exceed a defined sales plan of service contracts and support plans, time and materials billable services, field application training, bioinformatics and compliance services
Make daily outbound telephone calls and communicate via email to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made
Proactively uncover new opportunities within assigned accounts to generate revenue growth
Develop organizational skills to work within cross functional teams to achieve organizational objectives
manage sales territory activities and communicate efforts clearly within other levels of the organization
Understand the competitive landscape within accounts to position like or better product offerings to customers
Utilize data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities
Support marketing programs as assigned by the Sales Manager
Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely and complete manner
Strong sales, communication and relationship building skills
Telephone sales experience could be an advantage
Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize opportunities and develop sales forecasts
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent language skills in German and English and in at least one of the below : Polish, Czech, Slovakian, Hungarian, written and spoken
Another European language could be an advantage
Position details :
You can be based directly in our office in Darmstadt or work from any other location in home-office from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia
You will report directly to the Services Sales Manager Central / South Region
