We want you if you are looking to have a career where you can help people see, and be, their very best. The Managed Vision Care Senior Data Analyst provides key Revenue Cycle analysis with the aim of improving knowledge and efficiencies within the department.

Their analysis will identify areas of opportunity and act as the frontline of defense against unexpected changes that may take place in the POS system.

They oversee all reporting functions and development in the SSRS platform with the overall goal of providing either automated reporting, or easily retrieved reporting that can be used by the MVC managers and leads.

The Data Analyst is also responsible for deposit reconciliation and reporting as needed within the Revenue Cycle department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Revise or create key department reporting measures oReports to demonstrate weekly billing team activity and trends in POS system oReports to identify credentialing effectiveness and impact on Revenue Cycle oReports monitoring the financial activity within POS Billing that traces the relationship with the Accounting department’s reporting oA combined report to show holistic activity of the department with key indicators from other reports Advanced analysis on Revenue Cycle activity and trends over time using generated reports on a weekly, monthly, and yearly date range oAbility to identify problematic trends or indicators and report to Managed Care leadership oIdentification of solutions within the scope of financial or database dependent issues oMonthly and quarterly presentations of analysis findings and tracked results of any solutions introduced.

  • Generate monitored, routine analysis on weekly, monthly and yearly performance within Managed Care to identify trends as quickly as possible oCreate consistent thresholds for the department that indicate the health of Revenue Cycle and Credentialing processes oTimely reporting to Managed Care leadership on problems that are identified Detailed research and analysis on issues that arise within the department oAbility to seek out the relevant data in SQL to find the patterns or behaviors that contribute to identified problems oScope of influence includes;
  • MVC Financial activity How much, often and reliably payers are paying, MVC Team Performance Claims, Posting and Integration Funds, Areas of opportunity with carriers and Contract analysis and New Contract Fee Schedule Rates Develop presentations and analytical material with in-

    depth Managed Care data to be presented to senior and executive management Analysis between POS and integrated systems’ performance oCreative and data-

    driven analysis on external vendor systems that interact with POS Billing or POS with a direct-line to Managed Care Efficiency tracking ROI analysis System improvements and performance standards over time Develop a working knowledge of interactions between all vendor systems that come in contact with POS Billing directly or indirectly oMust be able to analyze multiple system inputs into measures of success and improvement Work Experience

  • 3+ Years in data analysis
  • Healthcare industry-specific is a plus
  • Experience with enterprise systems preferred Education
  • BA / BS degree
  • Business or Healthcare orientation a plus Credentials (if required) Job Skills, Knowledge, abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Basic to Advanced SSRS platform knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
